And yes that’s an egg shell in the drink. This popular drink during prohibition had an egg yolk in each glass. We’ve tropically updated the recipe with papaya and fresh ginger.

Pussy Foot
Ingredients
- Caribbean Red papaya - 1/4
- fresh ginger - 2
- Grenadine syrup - 2 tbs
- Limes - 3
- Orange juice - 1/2 cup
- Mint syrup - 2 tsp
- Egg yolks - 2
- Sparkling water, optional - 1/2 cup
Instructions
- Peel the Caribbean Red papaya, discard the seeds, slice 1/4 of the papaya into pieces that fit into your blender.
- Take 1" off a ginger root. Peel.
- Add the ginger and papaya to a blender along with grenadine syrup, the juice of 3 limes, orange juice, mint syrup and 2 egg yolks. Blend until relatively smooth.
- Add to a shaker with ice cubes. Optionally add sparkling water. Shake for 10 seconds. Pour into two glasses. Serve immediately.
