Starfruit goes Italian
Pimentos, olives and cream cheese make a perfect topping for crackers. Even lighter and brighter when topping starfruit slices. This combo is perfect when the main dish is fish.
- Slice the ends off of the starfruit. Discard. Slice the starfruit into 1/2" slices (or 4 slices per fruit). Discard any seeds. Arrange starfruit slices on a serving platter.
- In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese and olives.
- Top each starfruit slice with a tiny scoop of the cream cheese mixture.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
