Tropical turkey wrap
Turn a turkey wrap tropical just by using a SlimCado as the mayo not only reduces the calories but also leaps far ahead of mayonnaise in taste. Perfect for using up any leftover guacamole in the house. And yes, leftover guac is possible if made with a naturally large SlimCado. You get a lot of avocado for your buck.
Ingredients
- 1/2 SlimCado avocado
- 2 limes
- 1 small Florida starfruit
- 6 whole-wheat tortillas
- 6 leaves or 1 cup Romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/8 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 18 thin slices of turkey
Instructions
-
Slice the SlimCado in half. Discard the seed. Scoop out one side and mash the flesh. Squirt with the juice of 1 1/2 limes. Squirt the remaining SlimCado with the remaining lime half. Wrap tightly and refrigerate for the next dish.
-
Trim the edges of the starfruit. Slice into 1/2" star shapes. Poke out any seeds, if desired. Chop into small pieces.
-
Place the tortillas on a flat surface. Divide the mashed SlimCado between tortillas and spread evenly to within 2" of the tortillas' edges. Top with starfruit pieces, lettuce and cheese.
-
Layer the turkey slices on top.
-
Roll up the tortilla. Cut in half. Store in a plastic container to retain the rolled shape in your lunch bag.
