South beach limeade
Sometimes I just have to get out of Homestead. Love the town, but sometimes you've got to do the beach. And with South Beach just up the coast, that's often my destination. This is a drink that would be proudly served at one of the street-side cafes facing the beach. I do like my limeade tart, so make sure you taste it and add sugar as desired.
Ingredients
- 4 small or 2 large limes (1/3 cup lime juice)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 cups water
- 2 tbs coconut milk
- 1 cup ice
- optional: 1 tbs tequila
Instructions
- Add the lime juice to a blender along with the sugar, coconut milk, and water. Pulse until relatively smooth. Serve immediately over ice.
