Star-dusted green beans
Ingredients
- Ready-to-steam green beans - 1 12-oz bag
- Starfruit - 2 large or 3 small
- Olive oile - 4 tbs
- Red onion, diced - 1/2
- Dried mustard - 1 tsp
- Marjoram - 1 tsp
- Balsamic vinegar - 4 tbs
Instructions
- Follow directions on the bag to steam the green beans.
- Cut off the ends of the starfruit and trim the ribs with a veggie peeler. Cut into 1/2-inch star slices.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the oil. Add the onions and cook 3 to 4 minutes. Add the mustard, marjoram and vinegar. Stir to combine. Add the starfruit slices and stir to cover the slices with the onion mixture. Cook 3 to 4 minutes. Add the green beans and toss to cover.
- Serve warm.
