SlimCado Shrimp Curls
Add croissants, shrimp and a tropical avocado like the SlimCado into one dish and viola! You've got everyone asking for seconds and even thirds.
Ingredients
- 1 SlimCado avocado
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 lime
- 1 tbs cilantro, chopped
- 12 large pink shrimp
- 2 packages of 6 croissants (each) refrigerated rolls
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions

Preheat oven as directed on the croissant refrigerated dough package.

To make the filling, slice the SlimCado avocado in half, discard the seed, scoop out the avocado into a medium bowl, and mash. Add garlic, juice of one lime, and cilantro; mix together.

Clean shrimp of tails, legs, and encasings.

Place parchment paper on a large cookie sheet.

Roll out the croissant rolls. Take each triangle and push two corners of the triangle together. Tug at dough between the two corners to form a small bowl for filling. Add 1 tablespoon of filling. Place a shrimp on top with tail up in the air. Take a skewer from equipment usually used to lace up a turkey and stick it into the shrimp and dough. Twist the remaining point of the croissant's dough triangle around the shrimp's tail and the skewer. Repeat with other triangles of croissant dough. Leave the skewers in for baking.

In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and cinnamon. Brush the bottoms and midsections of the croissant dough (the top will brown on its own).

Place rack in the middle of the oven. These baked items have height and you don't want to bump the top of the oven. Bake as directed on the croissant package. Serve immediately.
