Chayote berry chill
Chayote is refreshing. There's no need to add ice to a summer's smoothie to get the same effect. You can add almost any fruit from the kitchen counter fruit bowl and this works.
- Chayote - 1
- Strawberries, stems cut-off - 1/2 lb
- Cinnamon - 1 tsp
- Almond milk - 4 oz.
- Honey - 1 tbs
- Lime - 1
- Peel the chayote. Cut off its ends. Put in a blender.
- Add the strawberries, cinnamon, almond milk, honey and juice of 1 lime to the blender. Blend until relatively smooth.
- Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Serve chilled.
