Guava shrimp dip
Cocktail sauce is heavy with the taste of tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce. Go lighter and sweeter with a red guava dip for those shrimp. Red guava and shrimp perfectly compliment each other. It could be because we grow red guava in Southern Florida not far from the sea.
Easy and fast to make. Although a great party appetizer, during guava season it's sometimes our main dish for dinner.

- Red guavas - 1/2 lb
- Cream cheese - 4 oz.
- Mayonnaise - 1/4 cup
- Chives, fresh - about 2 tbs when chopped
- Garlic, minced - 1/4 tsp
- Lime - 1
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Shrimp, ready to eat - 1 lb
Instructions

- Take the cream cheese out of its aluminum foil and place into a microwavable dish. Microwave for 20 seconds or until soft.
