I feel guilty typing this up as a recipe. During the summer, I don’t even think about what to add to the blender. These ingredients always end up going in.
Papaya guava honey melt
Toss some tropicals in the blender and you got a tasty drink as a warm weather treat.
- Cut open the Caribbean Red papaya. Discard the seeds and the peel. Slice one quarter into large pieces. Reserve the remainder for a snack or salad.
- Peel a red guava. Cut off the ends. Slice in half. If you don't want seeds in your smoothie, push the red guava through a sieve.
- Put all the ingredients in a blender. Blend until relatively smooth.
- Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Serve chilled.
