SlimCado mayo
What's mayonnaise but an edible glue that holds a sandwich together? Why not a SlimCado mash that keeps the sandwich whole but tastes great too? Instead of using mayo, simply mashing a SlimCado and adding a squirt of lime will nicely combine any sandwich. For the more adventuresome, here's an idea of what can be added to add more interest to the "glue."
Ingredients
- SlimCado avocado - 1
- lime - 1
- Dijon mustard - 1 tsp
- extra-virgin olive oil - 1 tbs
- Dash of salt and pepper
Instructions
- Cut open the SlimCado, scoop out the seed and discard. Scoop out the flesh and place in a large bowl.
- Add the juice of 1/2 a lime, mustard, olive oil, salt and pepper. Mash or add to a food processor and pulse until smooth.
