Creamy SlimCado Salad Dressing
If fat-free and lo-cal bottled creamy salad dressings leave something to be desired, make your own. It's easy and really makes the lettuce stand up and notice.
- 1/2 SlimCado avocado
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1 lime
- 1 teaspoon sugar or sweetener
- 1/2 clove garlic
- 1 teaspoon basil
- Because a SlimCado varies so much in size, process the avocado first in a food processor then add enough olive oil to get the consistency you want.
- Once that's achieved add the remaining ingredients to combine in the processor.
- Serve immediately or store in refrigerator with plastic wrap covering touching the dressing.
