Dragonfruit sorbet
One word describes the taste of fresh dragonfruit, that's refreshing. What better ingredient to make sorbet out of? Perfect for summer's heat. Sure thing for dessert, but why not serve as a appetizer. Way to start a meal at the end of a hot day.
Ingredients
- Dragonfruit, red or white - 2
- Limes - 1
- Sugar - 1 tbs
Instructions
- Peel the dragonfruit, add to a food processor. Pulse until relatively chunky.
- Add the juice of 1 lime and sugar to the food processor. Pulse until relatively smooth.
- Scoop into a 9x13 dish that can be frozen. Freeze until solid, about 4 hours. Occasionally stir the contents.
- To serve, leave out at room temperature for 10 minutes. Then scoop as desired.
