Passionfruit adds a great tropical flavor to ice tea, lemonade or sparkling waters. It's time passionfruit had its own drink. Here's a version with the option of adding rum.
- Slice open the passionfruit. Scoop out the insides into a small bowl or mortar.
- Add the mint leaves, sugar and the juice of 2 limes to the bowl. Using a pestle or hand juicer crush the ingredients together.
- Divide the passionfruit mixture into 2 glasses. Divide the water (and optionally, the rum) between the two glasses and stir.
- Add ice, served immediately.
