Basil in a drink? It adds a certain tartness that compliments the sweetness of Caribbean Red® papaya. It's a sipper, perfect for enjoying while making small talk at parties.
Ingredients
- 1/4 Caribbean Red papaya, just ripe
- 1 passionfruit
- 1 lime
- 6 basil leaves
- 3 tbs agave syrup
- 1 cup tonic water
- 4 ice cubes

Add the papaya, passionfruit interior, juice of one lime, basil leaves, agave and tonic water to a blender. Blend until relatively smooth.

Pour into a shaker with ice cubes. Shake ten seconds. Pour into glasses, leaving the ice behind. Place the papaya round horizontally in the glass. Serve immediately.
