Turkey SlimCado burgers
A lighter-tasting burger gets a flavor boost with a SlimCado. Mash for a more allover great taste, or chop the SlimCado into chunks to enjoy every bite. Perfect for the grill or the skillet. Note: a meat thermometer is a must-have for cooking turkey meat.
Ingredients
- 1 lime
- 1 tbs. garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. chipotle powder
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 SlimCado avocado
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- optional: 1/4 cup bread crumbs
Instructions

In a small bowl, combine the juice of one lime, garlic, chipotle and pepper.

Cut the SlimCado in half. Discard the seed. Scoop out the interior. Discard the skin. Your options: chop into bite-sized pieces, or mash in a large bowl.

Place the lime mixture in the large bowl and gently toss to combine.

Add the ground turkey meat and gently combine.

If the turkey is really juicy, add the bread crumbs to form patties.

Shape into patties, and grill or cook them over medium-high heat on your stove.

Cook until a meat thermometer can be inserted and registers 165° (check turkey meat packaging to ensure the right temperature).

Serve warm.
